People across England have a rare chance to experience a dramatic partial solar eclipse this week, when the Sun will be almost entirely blocked by the Moon.
The Moon will cover 90 to 96 per cent of the Sun on 12 August - the biggest coverage since the total eclipse in 1999.
There will be dozens of celestial events to mark the occasion across the country and ideal spots where people should be able to watch the moment safely.
People in the South West of England are likely to see the most coverage in England, while people in parts of Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain will experience a total eclipse.
The celestial event will last about one hour and 50 minutes, starting at about 18:20 BST and finishing by 20:10, but exact times will vary depending on where you are.
