Political strategist James Carville offered a series of harsh criticisms against the far-left Democrats taking aim at their own party in the ongoing primaries, while calling the candidates’ ongoing cannibalization of longtime incumbents "part of the problem."

In a blistering video, Friday, for his "Politics War Room" podcast, Carville blasted the nationwide sweep of far-left and Democratic Socialist primary election victories, while calling certain candidates "part of the problem" within the party.

"These people are so f---ing stupid I don’t know what to say about it," Carville said. "So now we have this idea that these insurgent Democrats — and what is their solution?"

The veteran Democratic strategist pointed to various elections throughout the country in which far-left and democratic socialist candidates unseated moderate party incumbents — such as in New York, where Democratic socialist Darializa Avila Chevalier and former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander toppled incumbents Rep. Adriano Espaillat, D-NY, and Rep. Dan Goldman, D-NY, respectively.

The trend also proved victorious in Colorado, where Democratic Socialist Melat Kiros unseated Rep. Diana DeGette, D-CO, in the state’s primary election.

"Is their solution to beat Republicans, to run against Republicans? No," he continued. "Their solution is to beat Democrats like they’re part of the problem. You are part of the problem because you’re a f---ing idiot."

He also pointed to Bernie Sanders and other far-left liberals doing the party a disservice by believing there is no "difference" between "establishment Democrats and establishment Republicans."

Carville then turned his attention to Abdul El-Sayed, a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Michigan, saying, "He's running against both parties. Oh, so it's both parties' fault? No, it's not both parties’ fault."

"One party expanded health insurance, all right?" he continued."Another party destroyed it. One party balanced the budget and created economic prosperity. The other party destroyed it. One party brought about a deal with Iran’s nuclear program. Another party destroyed it."

The fiery video concluded with Carville warning Democratic voters  not to "fall for the allure of false prophets" in the upcoming midterm elections.

"And all these people, go beat a Republican — then come back and I will respect you," Carville said. "Until you do that, I have nothing but contempt for you. And somehow or another, among Democrats, something became more important than winning elections. And that became, ‘Oh, I want to feel superior to people."

Fox News Digital reached out to El-Sayed's campaign for comment but did not hear back.

Earlier this week, Carville blasted Democrats for failing to properly vet the scandal-plagued Graham Platner.

"If I look back on this … you didn’t vet your own candidate? You mean you didn’t know?" Carville rhetorically asked of Maine Democrats. "OK, we used to get our own oppo researchers to do an oppo research book on us. It’s the most important research you do."

"And so they took off in this campaign, and all of this was recent. It wasn’t way back in some other godforsaken time. I don’t think they knew. I don’t think they wanted to know," Carville said. "It’s so, so '80s to do a briefing on your own candidate to find out what’s wrong with him. But, you know, there are certain rules in politics."
