In a nearly five-minute phone interview with Donald Trump, the BBC's North America editor Sarah Smith asked the US president about the war in Iran and the state of the so-called special relationship with the UK.

Trump said King Charles' visit to the US next week could "absolutely" help repair the relationship. And he told the BBC what he thinks UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer needs to do to "recover".
